Bad Chicks Dig Good Art

Arthur de Pins artwork

The ladies here at CWNM believe that being a true lady means having an appreciation for the finer things and being able to walk into a room and own it by possessing the ability to talk about virtually anything with anyone. Topics of discussion should include art–which we absolutely love! With that being said, as the resident design-a-holic of the group, it’s my job to bring you the coolest art that’s happening today and tomorrow; we’re always in-the-know and ahead of the curve. ::snaps fingers::

I ‘m really digging the artwork by French 2D and 3D illustrator Arthur de Pins. The international award-winning illustrator’s fresh, raw, sexy, and funny drawings emerged around 1999 with his first short film, Geraldine. He has a series of books, short films, and prints available as well (Dope gift alert! HELLO!).

Since then, his drawings have transformed into the clean, captivating, and alluring vector illustrations that you see today. There seems to be a crazy story behind each drawing and you can only imagine the audacious plot. I love his sense of humor and the situations he creates.  Check his site here and tell me what you think. Parlez-vous Français? LIKE IT? LOVE IT? 🙂
